Other Partnerships

UNFPA also engages with the private sector and other organizations. The Fund, for example, partners with the Rotary Club, a diverse group of business and professional leaders with a mission to promote peace and goodwill. Together, UNFPA and the Rotary Club, worked on the 'Responsive Parenthood Project', providing information and reproductive health services to families of children with disabilities in the Chitwan and Makawanpur districts.

Recognizing the importance and advantages of partnerships in advocacy, UNFPA has created strong ties with the Safe Motherhood Network Federation of Nepal, whose diverse membership consists of NGOs, donors, ministries, government departments, professionals, social workers and UNFPA, working towards advocacy for safe motherhood at all levels.
